"I've had so much fun with my now 7 year old grandson, building both the conventional/traditional Lego devices, but also we've done some large Technic devices (1,500 piece sized) and love those too. But of all the Lego building sets we've purchased (probably 40-50), this was my Grandson's favorite. So often the larger sized traditional sets (my Grandson calls them "dotters") can quite easily come apart just with a bump. This one is really quite solid. And he just loves how the entire top opens in a way where he can access it and play with the figurines and play act as kids do. A definite must for Lego aficionados."

"My son bought this ship, and absolutely loves it. A few small engineering problems: 1. The front landing gear is to far aft/rear. Pushing down on the front of the ship causes it to tilt downward. 2. The secrete cargo compartment does not have a stop when pushing it closed. So it goes beyond the closed position… and gets stuck. Overall, it’s a fun Lego set that kids love to play with.
